Daytona Beach, FL is famous worldwide. Located on the Atlantic Ocean, 23 miles of beaches are plentiful to walk or drive, breezes are refreshing and the Intracoastal waterway views are breathtaking. Whether by boat, car or plane, access is simple. Home to the World''s Most Famous Beach otherwise known as the Fun Coast, Daytona also features other landmarks in the area. The Daytona International Speedway, home to the acclaimed Daytona 500 and the Pepsi 400, each year will entertain you, not only for races but also for racing history. Main Street Daytona hosts the infamous Bike Week and Biketoberfest for the riding enthusiasts. Embry-Riddle University is the most recognized college for Flight training and Engineering for students from around the world. Daytona Beach also has a list of cultural attractions that include Peabody Auditorium, Seaside Music Theatre and the News Journal Center that provide an array of entertainment, Broadway Shows and Symphonies for all age groups. The Halifax River has many Marinas and restaurant/bars with docks for your boating pleasure. In February of 2012, there were 293 residential homes sold at an average price of $146,900.  The highest priced home selling for $1,300,000 and the lowest priced selling for $36,900.  Daytona Beach claims to be one of the best priced Coastal communities in Florida in all price ranges. Real estate along the Halifax River all through the area has docks of all sizes for boating enthusiasts.
